The Pilgrims of Hope

The Hallam Diocesan Walsingham Pilgrimage on Saturday 26th July, this jubilee year, coincides with the cycle of Pilgrimage from Doncaster to the National Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham.

Embracing Pope Francis’ call for the Jubilee Year 2025, we are Pilgrims of Hope “with Mary, model of Hope”.

Journeying with Mary to Walsingham we place our hope in Him who loved us to the end. Embodying Walsingham’s essence as a beacon of peace, hope and renewal. This resonates deeply and invites us to renew faith, inspire love and offer hope.

We are pilgrims in hope and pilgrims into hope and pilgrims of hope on this Jubilee Year Pilgrimage to Walsingham.

In the Jubilee Year, Walsingham holds a special place in our country, to rediscover Joy, Peace and Hope, that the national shrine has offered pilgrims down the ages, the assurance of Mary’s dowry.

Our Martyrs will accompany us.
